Action I: Irrigation water management issues in Lebna dam PPI

Organization of a local dialogue workshop with the various actors involved in the exploitation and management of irrigation water in the public irrigated perimeter (PPI) of Lebna dam (Intissar Ferchichi, Abdelaziz Zairi, Insaf Mekki and Tarek Ajmi )

Objectifs Cette action vise principalement : (i) la production d’une connaissance partagée autour des enjeux liés aux modes de gestion de l’eau dans le PPI de Lebna barrage et (ii) l’élaboration des pistes d’action sur des axes prioritaires du point de vue des participants. Ces objectifs sont amendés aussi par : Accompagner un processus d’appui à la dynamique de réflexion collective des acteurs locaux Discuter quelques points sur lesquels les chercheurs peuvent apporter leur soutien.
Démarche/méthodologie Cet atelier multi-acteurs vienne couronner une série d’actions successives : (i) collecte de données auprès des acteurs concernés au niveau local et (ii) des entretiens individuels avec les agriculteurs, le GDA et l’administration. L’atelier a permis de réunir 21 participants qui représentent 3 types d’acteurs : agriculteurs, GDA et administration (CRDA et DGBGTH)
Principaux résultats Les pistes d’actions prioritaires proposées par les participants sont ci-joint

Action II: SHAM 2017 Winter School “Mediterranean Hydro-Agricultural Systems”
Marrakech 4 – 8 December 2017

As part of the scientific exchanges, the Laboratoire Mixte International (LMI) TREMA in partnership with the LMI MediTer in Morocco and the LMI NAILA a winter school is organized in Marrakech from December 4 to 8, 2017.

Audience: Students, researchers, technical executives from management organizations in the southern Mediterranean.

Action III: Mapping of soil properties by Vis-NIR hyperspectral remote sensing”

In collaboration with the CNCT and the DG/ACTA Sol, Cécile Gomez, IRD researcher and member of the LMI NAÏLA, carried out training for technical staff and students on the theme of “Mapping soil properties by remote sensing hyperspectral Vis-NIR”. This training is part of a research project funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research-Tunisia (MESRS), and coordinated by the CNCT. The training took place from 04 to 05 October 2017.

 

Workshop: “Development of water resource use scenarios”

A participatory workshop was organized by CESBIO in Kairouan in February 2017 as part of the “AMETHYST” project “development of water resource use scenarios” including researchers, regional actors (CRDA, farmers, GDA) and national actors ( Ministry, SONEDE) This action was led by Mehrez Zribi.

A participatory workshop with farmers took place on the theme: “raising awareness among farmers on the introduction of alternative agriculture (rapeseed cultivation) in the Lebna watershed” this workshop was organized by Insaf Mekki as part of of the ALMIRA project. This workshop took place in May 2017 in Cap Bon.
